About Rhonda

I help people discover the best in themselves.

That's the work — whether it's recruiting the right person into the right role, advising an organization, coaching a leader one-on-one, or standing on a stage.

It all comes back to the same thing: helping people, and the organizations they're part of, become the best version of what they can be.

The Story

How I Got Here

My career began in the day-to-day of people work — as an HR generalist with a focus on recruiting and employee relations. I worked across a wide range of industries — banking, hospitality, retail, e-commerce, technology, and finance and accounting — and with organizations of every size, from small teams to large, worldwide enterprises.

That range shaped everything about how I work today. Moving between industries taught me what's universal about people and leadership — and what isn't. It taught me to listen first, to adapt, and to recognize the right fit when I see it. It's also why I can pivot the way I do now: I've seen enough different rooms to feel at home in almost any of them.

Over time, I moved into executive HR leadership, where my work centered on architecting leadership culture that brings clarity, accountability, and intention to the way people lead, collaborate, and create impact.  Somewhere along the way, I felt God leading me to step out on my own, so I did.

Today, my work spans recruiting, advisory, coaching, and speaking. The titles vary. The purpose doesn't.

Why I Do This

Why this Work Matters to Me

I genuinely want to make a difference. That's the simplest and truest way I can say it.

I've always loved helping people discover the best in themselves — the candidate who lands the role that changes their trajectory, the leader who finally leads like they mean it, the organization that gets its people strategy right and watches everything else get easier. Leadership, at its core, starts within.

My work is helping people do that inner work — and then watch what becomes possible.

What I Stand For

How I work is shaped by what I believe:

Authenticity

I show up as myself, and I help others do the same. Real growth doesn't happen behind a performance.

Boldness

Growth lives outside the comfortable. I'll ask the honest question and name the hard thing — because that's where the real work begins.

Fairness

Whether I'm recruiting, advising, or coaching, I'm committed to doing right by everyone at the table — the organization and the individual both.

Making a difference

If the work doesn't genuinely help someone, it isn't worth doing. Impact is the point, not a byproduct.

Trustworthiness

People share hard things with me — as candidates, clients, and leaders. I hold that with the seriousness it deserves.

Beyond the Work

A Little More About Me

My Christian faith is the foundation of who I am — I'm firm in it, and I don't take for granted a single thing He has provided.

Growing up in a small town just outside Houston, Texas, instilled in me a sense of authenticity and grounded perspective that continues to shape my everyday life. I take great pride in being a Texas A&M University graduate, as that achievement has played a pivotal role in my personal and professional development. Since 2004, my spouse, Bo, and I have navigated life together, finding some of our greatest joy outdoors—whether we're bowhunting together or spending time with our pups.

These experiences not only define who I am but also inspire my commitment to living life with purpose and gratitude every day.
